I want to make it clear that I do not believe you can lose your salvation.
However, Jesus does call us to live differently, to repent and turn from sin.
We will still have temptation and flesh will still fail us.
But the heart behind the song is to have a different view of sin. For us to think on a deeper level of what it lead to for Jesus.
God knows our hearts, we will never be perfect but it's about not sinning willfully and no intention to repent and turn from our sin.
